Visiting Santa 2010

I cannot begin to tell you how excited Hailey was to see Santa!! It was so much fun this year since Hailey really understood who Santa was (at least as much as a 2 year old can!). We went to Bass Proshop this year. Once we got there we realized how long of a wait there is. She did so well with her patience. While we were waiting for the line to open up to those without a "pass," she saw Santa from the outside and just jumped up & down with glee. She was in 7th Heaven!!! When he waved to her, she came unglued!

We waited about 1 hour & 20 minutes once we got in line. i have never seen her so patient. She was determined to see him. She wouldn't get out of line with Randy just to run around a bit while I stayed. Adorable! Here are a few snapshots I got while we were there!

Did not cry at all when she sat on his lap. She didn't smile for the camera. But at least she didn't cry! She told him what she wanted when he asked. It was adorable!!

Photographer in the Making!

While waiting to see Santa (pics of that coming soon!), Hailey decided to test out her photography skills! She would hold the camera up to her face and say "cheeeese" then look down at the LCD screen and say "perfect!" Hmmmm.... you'd never guess where she got THAT from?! Actually, it took me awhile to think of where she could have picked something like that up and it occurred to me she recently saw me conduct a photo session of my in-laws. I must have looked down and said perfect as some point in time!

Please excuse my poor-quality cell phone that has the worst possible camera on it! My old dinosaur phone had a better camera then this!! But seriously, SO cute!!

Camping

We took Hailey on her first camping trip the weekend after Thanksgiving. We went to Kern River. It was for her Cousin Jessica's birthday. Nana & Papa came along as well as Randy's entire immediate family. She had a lot of fun even though it was cold. We thought it was going to snow the last night but it didn't get cold enough. She had a blast playing with her cousins!

Christmas 2010 Part 1

I know what you are thinking... I haven't even posted Halloween pics and here is the beginning of many Christmas bloggings. Well, these are a few shots I got while we began our Christmas decorating. I promise I will catch up with everything else soon!! :)

Family Photos 2010

It's been a LONG time since we had professional photos taken of us!! Thanks to my wonderful friend Jennifer Bagwell we did a family photo swap!! i LOVE how these came out and Hailey hammed it up for her!!

Because I Remember....

October 15th marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. In order to remember and acknowledge, we light a candle at 7pm in our respective times zones, hoping to create a wave of light.

Happy 2nd Birthday Hailey! And her first bike!

Hailey turned 2 last week! That's right, TWO! Cannot you believe 2 years ago this adorable spunky girl was in the NICU?? I sure can't!

Here are some pictures from her actual birthday. We did a mini celebration with family, especially since it is also her Uncle Jeff's birthday on the same exact day! He turned 24. Her big birthday party pics to come!

Her grandparents gave her a tricycle for her birthday. Her first bike! She was SO excited!! I'll let the pictures describe the rest...
