Not too much to report. She is now 17lbs 2oz and 26.5 inches long! Pretty good jump in a month! She is currently in the 50th percentile for both height and weight!
He basically said to continue as is and see you in 6 weeks. Joy! $50 for that! haha.
Here are some more pics!

Hailey is 7 months old!!
I cannot believe Hailey is 7 months old. This past month flew by. I feel like I was just posting about her being 6 months old. She has really grown in the past month. As you have seen before, she is now sitting unassisted. She is getting better at it each time I work with her! When she learns to crawl we are going to be in trouble. I have a feeling she is going to get into everything! As you can see from this months "sign" pictures, she was very much interested in the paper and it made it a little more difficult to get a good shot. She just wanted to play with it and put it in her mouth. Then the flash of the camera fascinated her and she would just stare at the camera. Silly girl.
Her personality is really beginning to develop. She loves to "sing" and "talk" to herself, to us, to anyone. She has finally noticed Jake and anything he does is just hilarious to her. She likes to play peek-a-boo. Her favorite songs are "Wheels on the bus" "Itsy bitsy spider" and any silly song myself or Randy makes up!
Hailey is really getting into touching everything. She likes to feel your clothes and play with it. Touch your face and she likes to touch any facial hair if you have any too. Of course everything still goes into her mouth! She loves to eat carrots & bananas. I think those two are her favorites so far.
Her reflux seems to be getting better. I am weaning her off of the Reglan (I will explain why later). She sees the GI doc next week. Of course a full update for that will follow.
And now some out takes from the mini photo shoot this morning:

Sitting Unassisted
I finally got a better video. And this time, I put the boppy behind to give her a soft landing if she were to fall backwards!

Happy St.Patty's Day! We have a Sitter!!
I would like to announce that Hailey is now a sitter! She is still perfecting this skill but she is getting so good at it!
I tried to get a good picture yesterday but... guilty mommy moment alert.....she fell backwards while I was trying and hit her head on the hardwood floor! Hailey's feelings were hurt more than anything but I sure felt so bad! She only cried for a minute but then clung tight to mommy for the rest of the night! I set her on the couch today to take a picture and noticed she pushed herself up from leaning back on the couch to sitting on her own. I instantly filmed it. At least on the couch if she toppled over it would be a soft landing!
Here is the video I caught. It's extremely short because my camera beeped that the memory was full and instantly stopped filming. I will try for a better one tomorrow!
Tastes Like Chicken!
We gave Hailey chicken for the first time last night! She seemed to like it. I tasted it, it's a little bland but hey, if she likes it then it's all good!!

My Bathing Beauty
It's not Croup, it's RSV
Ugh. The three letters every parent fears. RSV. Stands for Respiratory Syncytial Virus. Thankfully the pedi thinks it's mild and nothing to worry about right now. We need to keep a close eye on her and also gave me the signs to look for if it becomes worse.
She began wheezing late night which made me call her. She wanted to see her today. The barking cough is no longer really there. It's more on the phlegmy side now, and the barking isn't very often.
It worse at night and definitely keeping her up. She went from sleeping 12 hours straight to waking up crying several times a night.
The bad part is that the pedi said it can last up to 4 weeks! Yikes. Let's hope this doesn't last that long.
I have never been the type of parent to insist on hand washing before touching Hailey but I think I am going to start grilling everyone about their health before they hold her. Having a sick baby is not fun! Especially for her!

Hailey has Croup
Hailey developed a cough on Sunday. It was pretty phlegmy right from the start. Last night is started having a barking tone to it. As today progressed it became worse. I called the pedi and she said it may be the beginnings of Croup. It's not full blown as of yet. She doesn't have the coughing attacks/episodes like described or trouble breathing. Tonight after she went down the cough seems to be stronger and she has woken up crying a few times after being down for just a hour. Tonight may be a long night....
Hopefully this will clear up and not become a textbook case of Croup. We have a humidifier going in her room. That's about as much as we can do for now. My poor sick baby.

Pink Duckie Bath Tub
Hailey has outgrown her bath tub....well she has been too big for it....for awhile. I came across this adorable blow up duck bath tub. It quacks and everything! She seemed semi-amused by it. I am sure once she can sit up alone better, she will enjoy it more!
