Playtime!!!

11 Months Old!?!?

I am sad to say that this is going to be my very last "Month" post because in one month, Hailey will be one!!! That's right ONE YEAR OLD!!!

Hailey has changed so much in the past month and especially in the last week. She seems to have acquired so many new skills in just one week. Her gross motor skills are in full gear.

Hailey is now getting into a sitting position all by herself. Her confidence for pulling up on things has increased dramatically!! She used to only be comfy pulling up on me (or anyone actually) and scared to on any other objects. Not anymore, she is getting very brave. She will balance and stand while only holding on with one hand. Sometimes she will let go and stand upright for a few seconds. She is also taking lots of steps assisted (holding on our hands). She is still army crawling on her belly though. I swear she is so content doing this and will probably walk before she crawls on her knees!

Hailey's second tooth is finally poking through today. So far teething doesn't seem to terrible for her. Just a little added fussiness from time to time.

Just a few weeks until my little monkey will be one year old. You have no idea how fast this has gone by. Hailey definitely makes life much more fun and much much cuter!

Hailey's Playdate with Aidan & Ella

Hailey had a fun play date with Aidan & Ella. Aidan is the son of my friend, Jenn, and is 2 days younger than Hailey. Ella is Aidan's neighborhood girlfriend.

It was great to see them together at this stage in their growth. Aidan, the super baby, was walking & bouncing around being his usual flirty fun self. Such a cutie. Even though Hailey took a nice long nap before the play date, she was a bit of a cranky butt. Although Ella & Aidan were showing Hailey the ropes of being more mobile!

Beach Baby

After such a great photo session at Sears for Hailey's 10 month/Father's Day photos, the manager of that Sears location asked if I would bring Hailey back so he can use her as a display for the new summer beach background. Of course I agreed!

Here are some of the photos..Hailey is locally famous! ;) The first is one of the collages he made to display at the studio.

Father's Day 2009

Randy's first Father's Day was spent fishing at "The Secret Fishing Hole" down in Newport Beach in the Balboa Bay area. This is a spot his family has been fishing at for years. It's located in the residential area and is pretty peaceful and quiet.

This was Hailey's first time at the beach. Although technically the Bay. The water is not fit for swimming so she did not experience that yet. We will have to visit the ocean side eventually.

It was a relaxing day. Hailey's Nana & Papa joined us. Also her Uncle Adam. I have to say she held up pretty well for skipping her nap. She didn't even sleep in the car (Uncle Adam was very entertaining on the trip down!).

We finished off our day by having dinner at Grandpa Wiesman's house to celebrate Father's day with him as well. Hailey conked out early and is still sleeping peacefully as I type!
