Hailey & Aidan: Then & Now

Hailey & Aidan met when they were 4 months old. Hailey's first little friend. His mom, Jennifer and I went to high school together. These two happen to be born days a part as well. When Jennifer caught this on our most recent get together back in October, I knew I needed to dig out their first photo!! WOW have these two grown and boy are they CUTE!

I haven't posted one of these is a LONG time!!

I had brought Hailey's old (I say old like its supposed to be ancient or something) Bumbo along for a photo shoot. When i took it out of my car later, I set it on the porch. She thought it was so cool. I immediately grabbed my camera!!

It's amazing ot see how much they grow in such a short period of time. She first sat in this when she was about 5 months old. So here is what 18 months does to a growing baby!!

Tu-Tu Overload

So it occurred to me that I seem to be drawn to putting Hailey in a tu-tu and having her photographed. I was looking back on all of Hailey's milestone age photos and realized that for her 6 month, 1 year and 18 month photos she was wearing a tu-tu! Not that its a bad thing! She just has some how ended up in a tu-tu in every 6 months.

So in honor of Hailey in a tu-tu... here's her photos....

I'd like to promise to not put her in a tu-tu again before placing her in front of a camera but I cant exactly do that! ;) Nothing like an adorable baby in a tu-tu!!

Then and Now

I was browsing through some photos and came across one of the first pictures taken of Hailey when she was taken to the NICU. It's amazing how far she has come since then. And if you really look at the picture, you will notice there are no oxygen tubes anywhere. We got very lucky that her lungs were mature at 33 weeks. Even the Neonatologist was impressed on how well she was doing.

Anyway, here is the first picture taken of Hailey, followed by the most recent picture taken of Hailey. Amazing what changes in 14 months!

Bye Bye Infant Car Seat

Hailey has almost outgrown her infant seat! Or at least to the point where I cannot carry her anymore in it. So we took out the infant seat and installed the "next step" convertible car seat in my car. Hailey is getting so big! And way too fast!!

I haven't done this in awhile. Hailey is growing like a weed and looking back on the "old" pictures makes me remember how tiny she was! I can't believe my small preemie is getting so big!!
