Happy 2nd Birthday Hailey! And her first bike!

Hailey turned 2 last week! That's right, TWO! Cannot you believe 2 years ago this adorable spunky girl was in the NICU?? I sure can't!

Here are some pictures from her actual birthday. We did a mini celebration with family, especially since it is also her Uncle Jeff's birthday on the same exact day! He turned 24. Her big birthday party pics to come!

Her grandparents gave her a tricycle for her birthday. Her first bike! She was SO excited!! I'll let the pictures describe the rest...

Hailey is walking!!!

I have been a bad blogger.

Hailey has been walking unassisted for about 2 weeks. I promise to get a good video and upload the one I have of her first unassisted steps!

LA County Fair 2009

We went to the fair today with Jenn & Aidan. Hailey really seemed to enjoy herself even with the heat. We were there for a short time. However, we made sure we stopped by the petting zoo & the pony rides.

I am so happy she isn't afraid of animals. She was excited to see all the goats & deer. There was a kangaroo there which was so cute. One of the deer kept trying to eat my dress. It was hilarious!

Hailey also had her first pony ride. She wasn't sure at first and then once the pony walked away from mommy, she instantly cried! Hopefully as she gets older she will like it more!

Crawling Watch 2009

We are on a crawling watch! It could happen any day now (but still could be weeks away!). Hailey seems to be improving everyday! She is perfecting her army crawl!

Officially Teething

Hailey is officially teething. I can see a little tiny white spot on her front bottom left (her left) side. So far she seems OK as far as pain, a little whiny and clingy though. I am prepared with Motrin, Tylenol, baby oral stuff & teething tablets! (Not to be used all at once of course!).

I am sure another will be coming in shortly after. Teething Hell, here we go! Cross your fingers for an easy, as pain free as possible teething experience for Hailey!

Hailey Swimming for the 1st time!

Hailey went swimming today for the first time. She LOVED it! The water was quite cold too so I was surprised she liked it. We first put her feet in and she liked it so much I put her bathing suit on (and mine too, EEK!) and went for a swim. Randy was working from home so he joined as well.

I swear this child is fearless! She squealed and laughed. She was timid about a few things but otherwise she was a happy little swimmer. Here are some pics and a few videos at the end!
