Look Who's Turning 2!!

That's right people!! Hailey is about 3 weeks from turning 2! Does time fly or what?? Here is a shoot I did with her for her birthday invites. I plan on doing another one soon! Enjoy!

Skinny Dip!

At the young age of almost 2, Hailey went skinny dipping! She wanted to jump in the pool with her daddy so bad I just took off her clothes and diaper and let her in. Of course, I immediately grabbed my camera because I just couldn't miss the opportunity to capture her cute little toddler butt! I am sure she will kill me when she is older for posting this for everyone to see but it's too stinkin cute not to!

Hose

I think one of everyone's favorite chlildhood past times involved a hose or even sprinklers. The other day, while Randy was washing his quad & car, Hailey got her first taste of it.

She LOVED being squirt by the hose and would cry when he would stop. She was soaking wet by the time they were through. She kept telling me (with pure excitement) "et! et!" (wet). She was so excited!

The fun ended with some Jake love. Of course he steared clear of the hose.

Introducing the Ponytail!!

Not only does Hailey finally have enough hair to have a ponytail, she is actually letting me put her hair in one!! I tried to get some quick shots of her with her ponytail, she wasn't cooperating well, but I guess I cant expect a toddler to care about my need for an adorable picture!

Here she is, my adorable girl with her ponytail. (Can I add that she is getting wayy too big way too fast??)

Tu-Tu Overload

So it occurred to me that I seem to be drawn to putting Hailey in a tu-tu and having her photographed. I was looking back on all of Hailey's milestone age photos and realized that for her 6 month, 1 year and 18 month photos she was wearing a tu-tu! Not that its a bad thing! She just has some how ended up in a tu-tu in every 6 months.

So in honor of Hailey in a tu-tu... here's her photos....

I'd like to promise to not put her in a tu-tu again before placing her in front of a camera but I cant exactly do that! ;) Nothing like an adorable baby in a tu-tu!!

Disadvantage of Photographing Your Own Child

The one problem with being the one to photograph your own child... is that you tend to get a lot of images that look like this...
